Location: Tewksbury, MA

Position Type: Full time, 40 hours per/week

Summary:

We are looking for an HR Generalist to support our global team in the US.
This role will work closely with the HRBP on day-to-day responsibilities. Primary
responsibilities and focus are to provide day-to-day HR support and administration
including: onboarding new employees, entry of employee data into databases and
support in other HR areas as needed. There will also be a mix of strategic initiatives:
consulting on HR matters, people manager coaching and development, performance and
talent management, talent acquisition, retention and reward strategies and HR program
development and implementation.

Job Responsibilities:
Responsibilities for the position include but are not limited to:
● Build trust-based relationships with employees and the internal HR teams in a
matrixed organization

● Assist in immigration paperwork for new hires and global transferees moving to
the US.
● Work proactively with colleagues across a global team to ensure an integrated
approach to HR service and delivery
● Provide day-to-day performance guidance to people managers
(coaching/development)
● Conduct on-boarding of new hires, coordination of new hire paperwork, benefits
overview and enrollment.
● Ensure timeliness, accuracy and integrity of data entry in HR and benefit systems.
● Initiates background checks.
● Provide benefits administration including reporting changes, reconciling invoices,
and assisting with open enrollment.
● Provide first level support for employees’ benefits and policy questions by
answering them or directing them to the appropriate person.
● Conduct exit interviews and provides insight/data to quarterly attrition
assessment
● Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HRBP and global HR team to
recommend solutions, programs and policies
● Process, verify, and maintain personnel records and other HR related
documentation.
● Perform assignments where trust, and integrity are required, while maintaining
confidential data with utmost scrutiny.
● Perform administrative tasks such as scanning documents to appropriate files,
preparing offer letters and employee agreements, etc.
● Keep up to knowledge of employment law requirements to ensure Altiostar
remains compliant
● Additional responsibilities as assigned

Education and Experience:
● BA in Business, HR or a related field
● 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience in roles of progressively increasing scope
and in matrixed, high-growth organizations
● 1-2 years’ experience in benefits administration
● Experience in a tech or software company is a plus.
● Understanding of insured benefits, labor laws and regulations, policies and
compliance
● Some direct experience or solid understanding of global mobility (i.e. relocation,
immigration)
● The ability to handle complex, ambiguous situations exercising judgement and
critical thinking skills
● Proficiency using HR systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Proven ability to work cross-functionally with many other groups and individuals
● A dedication to follow-through, attention to detail, and multi-tasking
● Proven positive team participation
